Notice Regarding Information Collection (per Section 11 of the Privacy Protection Law)

We respect your privacy. This document details the information we collect, its purposes, and your rights.

Is providing information mandatory?

You have no legal obligation to provide us with personal information. Providing information depends on your will and consent. However, without providing certain details (such as email for registration), we will not be able to provide you with the services.

Purposes of information use:

The information will be used for providing services, identity verification, information security, improving and training your personal AI model (in an isolated manner - your data is used only to improve your personal model and is not shared with other users), contact and direct marketing (subject to your consent).

Third-party information transfer:

We may transfer information to subcontractors (such as cloud services AWS/Azure/Firebase, external AI models via API) for service operation. Information may be stored on servers outside Israel, in countries ensuring adequate protection.

Your Rights:

You are entitled to view information held about you and request its correction or deletion (within legal limits) by contacting our privacy officer at: privacy@velut.ai or Aviv.sderot@gmail.com.

This Privacy Policy ("the Policy") describes how we at Velut.AI collect, use, store, and share information in connection with the use of the Velut.AI website ("the Site") and our digital services ("the Service").

Use of the Site/Service constitutes agreement to this Policy. If you do not agree to the Policy, please refrain from using the Site/Service.

2) Who This Policy Applies To

The Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to the site (without registration)
  • Registered users in the system
  • Paying customers (subscription / related services)

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization/business, certain information entered by the organization/employees ("User Content") will be the responsibility of the organization according to its internal policy and permissions granted to you.

3) What Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide to us, (b) information collected automatically, (c) information from third-party providers integrated into the Service.

3.1 Information You Provide to Us

a. Account and Contact Information

Name, email address, phone (if provided), business/company name (if provided), login details, communications with support.

b. User Content

All content you enter/upload/create using the Service – for example texts, prompts, instructions, files, content for analysis/rewriting, saved outputs, and context/metadata relevant to Service functionality.

c. Business/Accounting Information

Data required for subscription management, billing, accounting documents and customer service (such as name/business name, billing details, purchase history).

3.2 Automatically Collected Information

When using the Site/Service, we may collect:

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, language, device/browser identifiers
  • Operational logs: login times, system actions, error events, performance
  • Security data: failed login attempts, unusual activity, risk alerts

3.3 Information from Third-Party Providers

We may receive information from providers we use to operate the Service:

  • Payment processor/invoicing provider: payment status, transaction/confirmation IDs, billing failures, credits (without full card details)
  • Infrastructure/storage/logging providers: technical data for hosting, monitoring and operation
  • Third-party AI model providers (via API): processing of content you send to generate the requested output

We do not store full credit card details. Card information processing is performed by secure payment processors.

4) Purposes of Information Use

We use information for the following purposes:

  1. Service Delivery and Operation – account opening, login, performing actions, saving settings and outputs
  2. Creating Outputs Using AI – processing user content to generate outputs according to user request
  3. Support and Customer Service – responding to inquiries, troubleshooting, service documentation
  4. Billing and Payments – subscription management, recurring charges, generating accounting documents, handling refunds/credits
  5. Security and Fraud Prevention – protection against misuse, monitoring unusual activity, enforcing terms of use
  6. Improvement and Development – performance analysis, bug fixing, improving user experience
  7. Compliance with Legal Requirements – record keeping, responding to authority requests, handling disputes/enforcement

5) Use of External AI Models (API Calls)

Some Service features are based on third-party AI models via API calls. Therefore, when you input content to the Service to create output, the content (or part of it) may be transferred for processing to the external AI provider.

5.1 What is Transferred to the AI Provider?

  • Texts/prompts/instructions you enter
  • Context/examples you provide for output generation
  • Sometimes minimal technical metadata necessary to execute the request

5.2 Why is it Transferred?

Only to:

  • Execute your request and generate the output (writing/rewriting/summarizing/analyzing, etc.)
  • Maintain the Service, logs, security and misuse prevention

5.3 AI Provider Content Retention/Use

Processing, retention and policy terms of AI providers may vary by provider and depend on settings, contracts and their policies.

⚠️ Important:

  • Providers may retain documentation/logs for certain periods for security, monitoring or legal compliance
  • Do not enter particularly sensitive information to the Service (e.g. passwords, full card details, sensitive medical information, confidential information you don't want processed by a third party)

6) Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell personal information. We share information only to the extent necessary to operate the Service.

6.1 Service Providers

  • Payment processing/invoicing/payment status providers
  • Hosting, infrastructure, storage, authentication, logging, security providers
  • Third-party AI model providers via API (for content processing and output generation)
  • Communication/email/support/analytics providers

6.2 Legal Requirements and Legal Protection

We will provide information if required by law/court order, or to protect our rights, secure the Service, prevent fraud, enforce terms of use, or handle legal disputes.

6.3 Structural Changes

In case of merger/acquisition/sale of operations, information may be transferred to the buyer as part of the transaction, subject to commitment to maintain similar level of privacy.

7) Information Transfer and Storage Outside Israel

Since we use cloud services and external AI providers, information may be stored/processed on servers outside Israel (including USA/Europe), according to service configuration and provider terms.

8) Cookies and Similar Technologies - Cookie Policy

The Site and Service may use Cookies/Local Storage and similar technologies for:

  • Basic operation (Session/Login, security)
  • Performance measurement and improvement
  • Fraud and error prevention

Google Analytics

Purpose: Website traffic analysis, performance measurement, understanding site usage

Type: Third-party cookies

Duration: Up to 24 months

Additional Information: Google Analytics collects anonymous information to understand browsing patterns, including pages visited, time spent, referral source, device and browser version.

⚠️ Disabling Cookies:

Cookies can be blocked through browser settings. Please note, this action may impair Service functionality. Most browsers allow managing Cookies through privacy settings.

9) Information Security

We implement reasonable and standard security measures, such as:

  • Encrypted communication (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Access control and permissions
  • Logs, monitoring and deviation alerts
  • Backups and recovery procedures

However, absolute immunity from unauthorized access cannot be guaranteed.

10) Information Retention

We retain information as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, such as:

  • As long as the account is active/subscription is valid
  • For billing, account management and record keeping as required by law
  • For security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting
  • For handling disputes/legal requirements

After account closure, we may retain certain information for a period required by law/reasonable for operation.

11) User Rights and Requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

  • Access to personal information
  • Correction of incorrect information
  • Deletion/restriction in certain cases

12) Communications and Notifications

We may send operational communications regarding account, subscription, billing, security and Service changes.

Marketing communications (if activated) will be sent according to law and unsubscribe option will be provided.

13) Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn such information was collected – we will act to delete it.

14) Policy Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be published on the Site and/or sent via notification. Continued use after update constitutes agreement to the updated Policy.
