What is LinkedIn Sales Navigator?
LinkedIn Sales Navigator is LinkedIn's paid sales tool for B2B sellers and sales teams. On top of a regular account, it adds advanced search with many filters, saved lists of leads and accounts, alerts on changes, InMail messages to people outside your network, and CRM integrations.

Updated:
What Sales Navigator gives you
- Advanced search: 50+ filters, for example by role, company size and job changes
- Lists: saving leads and accounts and following them
- Alerts: updates on activity and changes at the people and companies you saved
- InMail: 50 credits a month on every plan, and you can accumulate up to 150
- CRM: integrations with CRM systems, with different capabilities by plan
There are three plans: Core, Advanced and Advanced Plus. Check current prices directly on LinkedIn's plans page, since they vary by country and over time.
An example
Say you sell software to logistics companies. Regular search makes it hard to filter by company size and exact role. In Sales Navigator you can build a list of VPs of operations at companies of a certain size, save it, and get an alert when one of them changes jobs.
Common mistake
Thinking the tool generates leads on its own. Sales Navigator helps you find the right people. It doesn't write a good message or run the conversation. One more thing: LinkedIn prohibits third-party software that automates activity on its site, so connecting an automation tool to your account puts it at risk.
Another common confusion is Sales Navigator vs LinkedIn Premium. They are different subscriptions. Sales Navigator is built specifically for prospecting and managing lists.
How it relates to Velut's work
In the outreach service, I define the ICP with the client and build a list of decision-makers, for example in Sales Navigator. From there, every message is written by hand in the CEO's voice, without automation: at least 100 personal messages a month, 5 new ones every working day.
Frequently asked questions
